I am working on it currently. I believe that we are going that route. People are being penalized for expressing opinions here by people who do not join/participate.
Most forums on the internet are not open to completely open reading. People have to join and participate, and sadly, it looks like the forums here are going to have to go that route.
I would say that I hate we lose members, but the only people we lose are people who aren't participating, so how much of a loss is it?

Some members who post regularly do think that there has been some reprisal, particularly when certain people are criticized.

I agree.
However, those people who post and post regularly, shouldn't be punished or feel like they can't express their opinions freely.

that is a true fact. MANY or even MOST coaches read daily. would like the forum better if you didn't have to log in to read. i used to read all the time but didn't post until i created this name. my team was getting highly critized last spring and had to defend them somewhat.
